Tips on How Can You Minimize the Risk of an Automobile Accident

by | Car Reviews

An interesting study was conducted in the UK, which involved a number of different accidents between motor vehicles and pedestrians. The subjects were dummy motorcyclists, who were placed in front of a moving car. They were not hit by the car in any way, but the driver made an error in judgment, by not checking for obstacles on the road ahead. Here are some of the main results of that research:

How likely are body organs to be damaged in an automobile accident?

Answer: very likely! When a dummy is being transported around in a car, it becomes easy for that dummy to get itself injured or damaged. In this particular case, the dummy ended up breaking the windscreen of the vehicle in order to knock it over. When it breaks a windshield, it is likely that other parts of the glass are going to be damaged as well. Other body organs are also likely to be damaged, such as the kidneys, liver or spleen.

Did the car involved in the accident suffer any damage to the body organs? No. The car did not break anything. It just skidded across the road. There were no signs of damage to the car or to the passengers in any way.

How likely are body organs to be damaged in an automobile accident?

Answer: Very likely! When a dummy is involved in an automobile accident, other body parts are likely to become injured or damaged. When a car is damaged in this manner, it is likely that other body organs will also become damaged. When it causes the breaking of another car window, for example, there is a good chance that there will be damage to the spleen or kidneys.

Why is this?

When a child runs into a busy street, many cars hit them, sometimes severely. These children can have serious injuries when they hit their heads on the street. This is why car windows are made very thick and what causes the breakage of these windows is the weight of the human skull. Because of this, most automobile accidents involving small children result in broken bones or severe facial or neck injuries.

So how can you minimize the chance of this happening?

One answer is to drive with breaks. This does not mean driving with breaks in your automobile accident, it means not driving on the road when there is a reasonable risk of your body organs being damaged. When you can do that, you will lower your risk of sustaining injury or death in an automobile accident.
